Hi and Welcome!! Thank you for visiting my blog! My name is Marta Smith and I am a wedding and family photographer in Utah County. I am super excited to introduce you to some of the amazingly beautiful people I have had the privelege to photograph, laugh with and love! It is amazing to me how many incredible people I meet. That's why I love photography- it allows me to meet and capture the true spirit of those around me! I believe that, not only does a smile say a lot, but that a smile comes from the heart. That is what I will do my very best to capture- the heart and spirit of you and your loved ones.
A smile happens in a flash~its memory lasts forever!

Elder Pearson

There are not many things more incredible than a newly called missionary waiting to tackle the mission field! I love taking mission pictures. I love how these young 19 year olds are taking their first steps to turning into spiritual giants! I also love when their moms come along. It's such a tender time to observe the overpowering love that these mothers have for their sons about to emabark on such a powerful journey! It's such a special time!
This missionary is extra special to me, this is my nephew, Colby. It took me so long to post these pictures, that he is currently serving in Brazil! What a blessing to the people of Brazil to have Colby there, teaching the powerful love of our Savior and the gospel! Good luck, Colby! You'll be great!

"Back to School Pictures" fundraiser

Monday

Up for the "cutest family ever" award!!

When my sweet friend, Donna, called me and told me that her sis-in-law, visiting from Alabama, wanted me to take her family's pictures, I was soooo excited. I love Donna and her husband's cute, little southern accents and now I get to spend a couple of hours with a whole family of fresh, awesome southern accents! I am secretly, or not so secretly, super jealous that I don't have an accent! My friend and I in high school used to pretend when we went to different places that we had an accent. We would randomly choose an accent for that evening and just go for it! (nerdy, I know!!! :) ) The only one that I was remotely good at was the southern accent! So, needless to say, after a few hours with this cute family, I am in dire need of "accent lessons"!!!! :)

This family is absolutely adorable!! I loved EVERY minute of my time with them!! I'm just sad that they live so far away- we would, most definitely, be good friends! I'm only sad that it took me 9 months to put their cuteness on my blog!!!

Thanks again for a fun, winters day!! You all were troopers!!!
